I LOVE this cat carrier. My old one was softshelled and it was almost impossible to get my cat in and out. This has nice, hard plastic sides and the holes make it very easy for my cat to see out and feel more comfortable when she is inside it. She's 12 pounds and has plenty of room to sit up all the way, lay down, and get up and turn around. She loves that she can see out of both ends, so she can switch how she's laying to be the most comfortable.It was a little difficult to zip together at first, but I think it was only because it was the first time. Subsequent zipping and unzippings have gone a little easier. It was great at the vet, because my cat did not want to come out, and the vet just had to unzip one side and did the exam with the cat feeling more protected and comfortable. The vet definitely loved this carrier too and said so! And the blue (which is more aqua than the picture) is such a fun color.The only con is that the bottom is hard plastic, but can still bend a bit when the full weight of the cat is in the carrier. Not so much that I think she'll fall out but enough that if I'm walking a long way, I'll hold the carrier with one hand on the handle and one arm under the bottom.Altogether a great carrier that I am very VERY happy with and so is my cat!
