When people travel, or pack for a weekend stay, each person’s needs are different. This backpack seems well made, but it is just not a good design for my purposes. Here’s why (and other people may find what I didn’t like about the backpack to be absolutely functional and perfect for them):So much padding. A lot of extra weight added because of the extra material used to form the abundance of compartments, and padding. So much of the volume devoted to laptop space. This could be just fine depending on what your needs are. I think I would’ve appreciated it if I were carrying 2 to 3 laptops in the laptop portion of this backpack. It was a disproportionately large amount of room devoted to this, and for my purposes was completely unnecessary .But then again, because the weight of the laptop section is distributed away from my back, I would have probably toppled over backwards like a turtle had it been loaded with laptops or books.The overly large and bulky laptop space left relatively little room for packing clothing, shoes and personal items. Yes, I could pack some of my personal items or clothing in the laptop portion, but I really prefer a bag that just opens so that I can view and access all of my clothing without having to flip from compartment to compartment. Could be excellent for some people but it really didn’t work for me.Good size and lightweight, but zippers of poor quality, already failed fist use in multiple areas.Bag zipper is cheap. Packed it 3/4 full and wore it around my house to see if it work for a Trip to Italy later this year. Nope. After 3 minutes the zipper had separated. If it can’t contain the goods when only 3/4 full, no way will it survive an international trip. The stitching around the top two corners is all wonky too. Puckered and loose stitching on both sides. This is going back.
