These are pretty but not very practical. I don't think they are the best quality and I am afraid to put them in the dishwasher. If I could put them in the dishwasher, they would be a little more useful. But basically, while the stainless steel materials and plastic materials are great quality, I think the outside design is just a picture insert. I bought these because of the design, I was looking for somjething with animals and American Expedition fit the bill. I like these, because they are handy and pretty, but they are not my favorites mostly because of the way they are made.This was a gift for a grad heading off to college. He was very happy with it. He needed a refillable coffee cup. The lid is tight fitting to avoid spills, it's just the right size and very attractive. I have the turkey one myself and really like mine. These would make a nice set if you got several.This is the 2nd one I've had. Accidentally dropped the 1st one. All that broke was that the plastic outer shell cracked. Still OK to use and I still do use it, along with the brand new one I recently purchased. American expedition products have always been rfeliable.Insulates well, not as good as a thermos but almost.Seals up tight with no leaks. A Good looking mug, it's only fault is it is hard to seeIf the drinking opening is opened or closed in the car at night.The quality of the mug is superior. I have had one for at least 10 years and it is still going strong. This purchase is a backup for my first.I love the picture of the eagle and the insulating of the cup but I have a problem drinking out of it. It tends to run down the side of the cup and not in my mouth. When I use it I always have to have a napkin handy.Bought four assorted items from this company as gifts. The animals are featured in a realistic fashion and the quality is excellent ! At this price , you can't go wrong for your animal lover. Rarely do you see prints this colorfulOn items like coffee mug, stone coasters, flask etc.Also, appreciated the nice packaging these gifts came in.Awesome mug. In fact, I get compliments on it fairly often by people that I don't think are necessarily into hunting. It's just a classy mug. It's so classy, in fact, it will probably get you that huge promotion you've been waiting for, so why not buy it!?
