It's is very cute and my daughter loves it, but it was hard to tell how big it was until we got it. It is definitely on the small side for a 3 year old. I would call it more of a novelty for her as opposed to something with utility.Not tightly packed at all. In fact my only complaint is that it is not tightly packed. Then again, that may b the reason I like it so much. I've had many of these head supports. They r all so stiff I can't use them. I am ordering another one for myself in case they stop making them and another one for my 7 lb Havanese who loves to sleep with it curled around her.So very cute! My daughter loves mermaids, and this one is adorable. My only complaint is that it doesn't provide much support for the neck.Smaller then we thought it would be also kind of hardIt's s beautiful pillow, but packed very tightly with stuffing, it pushes baby's head out and looks very uncomfortable. I kept it as a distractionon toy . Perhaps in the stroller it will work , but if you are looking for a pillow for a car sit , look for one that is not so tightly packed.So cute, child-sized. Granddaughter loved it.Way smaller then I expected..pretty dissatisfied.Adoreable and so comfortable!!
