Trays are very flimsy. 2 cracked the first day of play. Case and tiles are very nice.Yes, it is a metal case and not wood. Yes, the tiles seem just a bit thinner. Those are the only negatives and they don't even count if you never played on a quality set sold in the 1970's. The tiles have a nice, solid "click" to them and the digits are recessed so the colors will not wear. The tile holders are functional but they are light and easy to tip over if you get careless. Everything fits into the case with room to spare. I did cut up a stick-on felt chair leg protector and added the pieces to each corner of the hinge side of the case so that the hinges would not drag and scratch when the case is set down on a table.Muy fácil de llevar a todos lados, ideal para compartir con amigos y familiaWe already knew we love playing Rummikub but with the original set we bought we didn’t like the cardboard box it came in because it was falling apart and the tiles were loose in it so we spent a lot of time to prep them for playing each round (laying the face down on the table) this set came in a nice metal storage box and with a cloth bag to put the tiles in for drawing during the game and keeping them together for storage. The only draw back is the tile racks which require the legs to be inserted in for set up they sometimes fall out of the rack causing the tiles to fall which is a little frustrating. The tiles them selves have nice gig numbers which make them easier to see during the game which I like because the first set’s numbers were difficult to see the color I certain angles and lighting situations. The tiles themselves are cheaply made. After just a couple games they are dirty, scratched and stained.My family is obsessed with this game. They are always wanting to play this so I figured I should get it for my new sister-in-law so she would have a chance to compete.
