I watched this item for a very long time because the shipping cost made it just a little overwhelming. But I couldn't find it anywhere else, so I finally bought it. I liked it, and bought it, because the other reviewers critiques showed it was what I wanted and no other cooler has it. It is not top heavy because the bottom is quite heavy and uses rubber wheels. Plastic wheels don't do nearly as well, so those coolers were out. I also like the separate top handle to pick it up with, rather than using the retractable handle. Saves wear and tear on the retractable handle. I like the top zippered compartment, and while it is not deep, it carries just the right amount of snacks that I want to keep dry, or have easy access to. I have used it to take to the grocery and bring home my perishables for when I plan to do other things before coming straight home. The real test will be when I take it on vacation, but after examining it, and using it, I have confidence that it will do well not only in the car but on the beach--the real test. It's not a large cooler, but practical for the back seat on a trip, and for the beach. Also you can bring it into a hotel without being conspicuous. It looks like regular luggage! It might even work as a carry-on in the airport if they allow food, but no liquids. Rules change often.
