The first thing I noticed was how thin the blanket was after it had time to air out. I ran it in the dryer for 15 minutes thinking it would puff the blanket up but it did very little to change the thickness. After I slept under this blanket I was blown away by it's warmth and how light it felt while covered by it. The lightness of this blanket was such that it took a little time to adjust to it and get comfortable. Staying warm is no problem with this blanket. It holds in just the right amount of warmth to be comfortable but not sweat. It is the best blanket of it's kind that I have used so far. You will not be disappointed.I love how easily the comforter refolds into the bag. It is quite light weight, hoping it'll be warm enough for late April tent camping in the Mid-Atlantic region.Very snuggly i wouldn't plan on using any lower than about 40 deg paired with a decent bag.Definitely not a stand alone sleeping item below 50 degrees maybe even 60 degrees.Smells like scorched chickens when it gets wet. Did not see it was from China when i ordered it. Took it on a long back packing trip. worked fine, got rained on one night and smelt nasty. Dries out fairly quickly though which is a huge plus. If your into serious backpacking our Camping id pass and get a higher quality blanket.I had high hopes for this blanket. I am looking for a oversized down blanket for my 6'7 husband. The ripstop material and stitching are perfectly fine but the fill is very low quality. There is barely any loft, so that equates to very little insulation value. No loft no warmth. The down fill had palpable feathers which is why there is little loft.This would suffice for warm/pleasant summer nights, but unfortunately unsuitable for anything below 60° for myself and my husband.We did a side by side comparison with the Horizon Hound 1lb 6 oz 650D fill blanket and this fell short sadly.Great for mountain backpacking. Super warm when up against your body. Lightweight and compact great for 2 to 3 people overnight in near freezing conditions.Low loft but decent materials. Plan to modify into summer backpacking quilt. Should easily get down to 50degrees. Stitches appeared straight. No smell like some other down. Best deal for tall individuals by far.Could have had more fill and been more evenly stuffed but packs small. Length is greatVery light and warm. Quality sewing. If you don't like heavy blankets this is perfect.
