I spoiled myself - bought a Purple hybrid mattress for my home. Very hard to replicate it and too expensive to purchase for an RV. Time to get creative.After trying a variety of things, including layers of memory foam, I decided to give this a try. OMG, it’s like it was made for my RV bed. Fits perfectly in length and width. I use this as a topper over the memory foam layers. Much easier to roll over on plus I can adjust firmness simply by adding or releasing air. I have this under a quilted mattress pad so noise and the vinyl feel are minimized. On a 2 week trip in the RV I had to give it a quick inflation, maybe 10 seconds. That’s common for all sleeping pads. It spent the better part of the summer stored in a 90 degree RV and did just fine. I will remove it for the winter.Is it my Purple hybrid? No, but it allowed me sound sleep each night in my RV. It’s the closest solution I currently have and the cost isn’t unreasonable to get solid sleep.I don’t think I would recommend this for a bed in the home used regularly, but for my needs in the RV it performed much better than expected.Evaluate your realistic needs and purchase accordingly.Great product for camping
