Too small.I was excited to get this so my husband and I could play while we were out and about. But I am sad that the board top is just a decal and not actually grooved wood. It really looked like it from the photos. My bad. But it will work well enough. I love that it's magnetic on the edges so we can put the captured pieces to the side with out loosing them.Chess pieces are nice wood and magnetic. Checkers for checkers and backgammon are not magnetic. This will limit play during travel. Dice are too small to use. We will have to use others.Pieces are nicely craftedIt’s cheese and cheap in person. J'ai demander des dames supplémentaires, la compagnie a répondu à ma requête très rapidement. Mais ils m'on envoyer des pièces d’échecs. Les couleur des lignes sont un peu pâle. Pour la qualité prix, je suis satisfait, car j'aime bien sa grandeur. Les pièces d'échecs sont aimanté et tienne bien.The box is made of solid wood, as it states in the item description, but the squares and markings on the playing surfaces (both the chess side and backgammon side) are some sort of printed laminate. Hopefully they hold up reasonably well. The pieces do appear to be solid wood, and actually look better than I expected. It would be nice if the checkers were magnetic as well. Overall, it’s ok, but not as nice as I was hoping it would be.In general, it works and is nice but the make feels cheap. The design seems like a vinyl sticker that is attached to the top and the pieces are light and clearly not the best quality. That being said the magnetic feature is a plus for travel.You get what you pay for and for this price what you get is completely fair.I’m really disappointed that Amazon doesn’t moderate the lies of companies advertisements. It is a blatant lie to show nicely carved pieces and then sending a product with much cheaper build.
