I've used this specific brush for years and now buy multiple at a time. I used to use bare minerals mineral (loose powder) foundation and have recently switched to a powder foundation and this brush it perfect for both types. ? It grips the makeup so perfectly and lays it on my skin effortlessly! ✨️ I'm sure there are great ones out there that cost much more but I love how cheap these are priced considering I do not wash my brushes instead I replace them since my skin is so sensitive. Anyways, it does have a short handle since it's marked "travel size" but the brush itself is chefs kiss! 10 out of 10 for me. I do not know how it would apply liquid foundation though because I don't use that type of product but man oh man if you are a powder foundation girl get this! LolI've been using powdered foundation for a few years, and this has become my favorite brush to use. For me, it's the perfect density--in between my flat-top kabuki brush, and my full-face loose powder brush. It is a bit wider (bigger in diameter) than I had anticipated. But I find I can use it for both my foundation AND my blush. Since this one brush can replace two, it actually takes up less space in my makeup bag. The bristles are soft and full. I like that the cap keeps things clean inside my makeup bag. I like it so much, in fact, I'm buying a second to use daily, not just in my travel makeup bag.Purchased this to keep in the diaper bag for easy and mess free application of sunscreen on my fair infant. Works well and infant is less fussy about application with the soft brush.I like that it has a cover so that it’s sanitary. I had this brand’s kabuki brush almost 20 years ago in high school; glad to see the only thing that has changed is even better quality. Two thumbs up.First of all, I rarely wear foundation and so I really don't use brushes. However, once in a while I will and I can't see very well so I need to be close to a mirror. All other brushes are too long, too hard and I can't see what I'm doing. So I bought this brush on a whim and I love it. It's short, soft and best of all I can get close to the mirror. When I'm done with it I never notice any leftover makeup (maybe because I use a small amount). But I would buy this again, if needed.I imagined this would be quite a bit smaller than it actually is. Should have paid attention to the dimensions listed. It works well. Retractable feature is good for purse & travel.I’m keeping it because I opened the packaging & it does fit it into my purse cosmetics bag. Oh, and thanks for sending me TWO brushes!! Unexpected bonus? This is a perfect brush, I use it for blush and it goes on great! The best thing about it is that it retracts into the case so it won't get dirty as easy.Nice for blending your make upI used to have an earlier version of this Ecotools kabuki brush, but sadly I lost it some time ago; with the rise of the beauty blender in the application of makeup, I had forgotten about how well this brush used to blend my foundation. I decided to get a new brush for my birthday, and was not disappointed when it arrived the next day. The bristles are densely packed and of excellent quality, and the retractable aspect of the brush means that you can actually vary how dense you would like the bristles to be. The lid ensures that the brush remains hygienic, especially if you are travelling, and I love the dark silver colour of the handle and lid - it does indeed give the brush an expensive feel, and is an improvement on the brown coloured metal of the previous version. The icing on the cake was the absolute bargain price of only £9.74!This arrived with way to much plastic packaging to justify “eco” in the brand name. The brush is OK but barely so. It is soft but seems to have too many hairs to flex properly to apply product. It is also a bit fiddly to put on the cap as the hairs stick out of the retractable case and catch on the cap. It picks up a LOT of product so need to dab very sparingly or risk looking like a clown. Or this may be due to the lack of “flex” that prevents thorough blending. Wouldn’t buy again.I've used this a few times now and am really happy with it. The way it tucks into its case is brilliant - the brush itself isn't the moving part - just the sleeve which comes up over the bristles to kind of guide the cap over everything without damaging it at all. It's very soft and applies mineral foundation very well w/ a great finish and no little bristles coming loose and getting all over your face (so annoying!) I am thinking I will get the brush soap from EcoTools as well to keep it nice and clean and in good shape. I have very happily gotten rid of all my old kabuki brushes, and at only 1/4 the price of a branded version, I am loving this. Just right.I had been looking for a retractable brush to carry in my bag to use for my powder during the day. This seemed to have a stronger case than the Real Techniques options.I really like it, the brush is a bit denser than I expected but it works well with my face powder. It is really nice and soft and cruelty free. It fits nicely into my makeup bag and isn't bulky to carry around.I'm pleased with it and would recommend.Small and compact to suit travel but the bristles are quite compact producing quite a firm tuft. This would be ideal for neutral face powder but suspect using this for bronzer I would have a distinct orange face as it would go on heavy! Not for me, and because it’s been taken out of package, unable to return/ disappointing on many levels
