Overall size Approx. 10-Inch (L) x 8-Inch (H) x 4.5-Inch (W) Main compartment approx. 9-Inch (L) x 6.5-Inch (H) x 4-Inch (W).

Features

We finish our bags with a triple coat of polyurethane for water resistance and add a final coat of DuPont Teflon Fabric Protector to repel the elements. Only the best components and designs are used.

We use complete YKK zippers and slides exclusively unlike our competitors who put YKK slides on generic zippers.

we add military grade nylon webbing for straps, handles, and modular attachment points. Genuine Duraflex buckles and hardware add strength and functionality.

Starting with large, unseamed panels of 1000 Denier Nylon, we meticulously reinforce each stress point with composite thread. No unnecessary seams or polyester parts are used

Perfect size and much more convenient interior access compared to traditional old style.Ok, so I like Maxpedition products. I'm hooked. I started by getting a Sitka bag, and loved how it performed, but wanted a larger one for school, so I later bought the Kodiak. I also own the Doppleduffel and Fliegerduffel for traveling. So you're getting a review from a fan. But, from a traveler's standpoint, I've used this toiletry bag on many trips, often lasting over a week, and am extremely happy with it. It is bombproof (I like the idea, although I would hope this would never be an issue in a bathroom, I guess that's unless you happen to have a roommate with major GI issues...). The stitching is extremely well-done and strong. The side pockets easily hold a standard deoderant stick with some room to spare. The concealable hook works great for hanging it near the shower. It seems very sturdy and it folds up nicely into its pocket. The interior cylindrical pockets perfectly hold my 3 GoToob 3 oz travel tubes and the 4th hold a small bottle of cologne. If I pack it right, the interior compartment holds my full-size toothpaste, electrical shaver, toothbrush, "poof" (makes the body wash last much longer if you use a poof while traveling, and the poof packs up small), shaver cord, and beard trimmer and cord. You still have 2 side pockets left in the interior after that, and I use the mesh and plastic zip compartments for other paraphernalia like Q-tips, nail clippers, etc., although the clear compartment would work great for sliding a small mirror in if you take this camping, etc. All of the zippers work very well, and the YKK zippers are one of the reasons I think so highly of Max products. I don't know why you would necessarily need to attach a shoulder strap, so the D-rings seem a little superfluous to me, but the grab-handle on top is great. The morale-patch-ready hook-and-loop section on the front is great if you feel the need to intimidate your shower-buddies with sniper insignia or to let them know that the guy singing in the shower next door is very patriotic... or just manly... Or you could just let the cool bag speak for itself...Cons: (1) The bag doesn't always sit upright very well. This is a common failing with most of the Max products that I have used and seen. If you fill it well, especially in the bottom compartment, it sits fine, but if it is mostly empty, it falls over face down. You can fold the zippered flap backwards to make a sort of tripod stand for it, and that seems to help the issue as well. (2) It is pricey. If you plan to travel, though, it is worth it in my opinion.I would definitely buy this again, and I recommend it highly. It is just big enough, and not too big. It looks like it will hold up for just about forever (I'll probably wear out before this thing does). Great bag, and great job again, Maxpedition!I purchased the Maxpedition Aftermath to replace a different name brand bag that gave out. I use the bag, hanging up, multiple times per day, every day, in multiple different use scenarios.Overall: I've found the bag to be well designed and made, in addition to looking great. Well worth the money.> Handle: Thin, flexible, and solidly attached.> Hook: Light but sturdy - attached to the bag by a 2.25”, 15 stitch tapered flap, which distributes the bag’s weight well. My previous bag had a < 1” connector with 5 stitches that immediately strained under the minimal load and eventually pulled out.> Top pocket: neatly keeps hook out of the way and can hold other thin items like bandaids or nasal strips.> See through plastic compartment: Thick flexible plastic sided pocket easily fits my 3” x 5” mirror.> Mesh compartment: Holds most of my dental items nicely, except for a standard adult sized toothbrush which just barely fits diagonally. Going forward, I'll likely switch to smaller toothbrushes. Note: this is where the top flap bends, so storing wide solid items here can be a problem.> Main compartment: The semi-circle of various sized sleeves perfectly house my haircare, soap, deodorant, and shaving items. I use leakproof refillable travel bottles (2-4oz), but a couple full sized bottles could fit sideways in the open area.Notes: - the mesh front panel isn’t rigid enough to keep the bag from folding in on itself some when hanging up, which can cause taller items to fall out. Running a strap or cord from one side d-ring, up through the hook, and down to the other side d-ring (with tension) can help with this. - I wish there were attachment points on the back and/or bottom to lash it to my backpack.> Side compartments: A little narrow for some accessories, but hold my micro first aid kit, spare blades, q-tips, and clipper set with room to spare. Webbing on the sides is great for temporarily holding a toothbrush, keys, or for clipping on a small hand towel.Update:Almost 2yrs later, am still using it daily and loving it. Have attached carabiners to the D-rings to quickly connect paracord supports.I have two of these cases. They are great for traveling. They hold large items and can carry more than you think at first glance. They are a bit pricy, but that’s normal for Maxpedition gear. You get what you pay for.I upgraded my usual shower kit to this one, which has plenty of room, and is well organized. My stuff used to be piled in one main zippered pouch, but now each of my toiletries have their own slot or pocket which is more convenient.Cons: I wish the handle and zipper arrangement was different though, because when the main flap is unzipped, you can't pick up the kit by the handle without the pouch opening up and spilling things, due to the placement of the handle on the flap and not the main body of the kit. I rigged some cord to the plastic D-rings instead, but it's still annoying. Also, despite the intent of the kit to be tall and flat, to lie against a wall or whatever you're hanging it from, the base could be a bit more square so the kit doesn't fall over as easy when sitting on a countertop. As with almost all Maxpedition gear the quality of the bag is very good. The layout for organizing works well. I only wish that it was a little bigger in overall size but besides that I am pleased.Recently purchase this toiletry bag 3/21. Perfect size for intended use. Like all Maxpedition bags I've purchased it's durability is 2nd to none. The only thing I noticed is the hook isn't as large enough for me. Hook does fit standard towel rack etc.Very robust plenty of pockets so no need to rummage around as you do with other bags, but it is a bit expensiveAll as expected, a quality product even if I felt it was a little expensive.Well, if you're in the market for a toiletry bag, the Maxpedition Aftermath is probably the toughest one you can get on the planet. This bag could also have a bunch of alternate applications given its configuration.Anyone that knows Maxpedition bags can attest they are premium products. To have a version for your toothbrush/deodorant is as another reviewer stated, overkill. That being said, this bag will likely outlive the average person. If you're livin outdoors allot, this bag looks and feels even better. But even for general travelling amongst the indoor crowd, it's well appointed and useful.Thick materials, quality YKK zippers and room enough for travelling essentials. Lots of pockets, zippered enclosures and a hook, to hang the bag on, well another hook (on a wall) or a tree branch. Contrary to what some reviewers said, this bag when filled with stuff and weighted some, will sit on its bottom without falling over. The overall size is good for its purpose. The foliage green for me is a beautiful colour and gets away from the standard black. So is there anything wrong with it? It does't have molle webbing on the back, but I can personally live with that. People that are molle geared out may find this a minus. Inside many Maxpedition bags, you usually have elasticised slots that stretch to hold things. This bag does not. It has non-stretch open bottom nylon pockets in the main compartment. Certainly useful, but I would have somehow liked some stretch in those areas. The size of the bag is good, as I stated above, but I would have liked it just a little bigger if given the choice. My last criticism is the fact I spent allot more money than I planned on for a toiletry style bag. Being a Maxpedition fanboy here, will get ya at times making such purchases. Though, this bag could have many uses aside from carrying your toothbrush around.Overall, another fine piece of kit by Maxpedition. Ya, you could spend maybe 1/3 the cost on a no-name bag that would likely be fine. But if ya want strong, rugged, top quality and something that will probably never die, then this is a good choice.Recommended. Deshalb wegen der Gesamtkonzeption und der Qualitätsverarbeitung 5 *.Sure you could get toiletry bags for the fraction of the price, but if you are a fan of maxpedition and believe in their quality products, why would you? This thing works well just like the rest of them, and the quality is top notch! Load it out with your hygiene necessities with no issue! Or if it's not for hygiene use, this can also stand out as another EDC for whatever u need it for. This is the main reason why I chose this as well, it doesn't stand out as a toiletry bag like the usual toiletry bags out there.
