Where to start?I thought that by purchasing this product, it alone would be a joy, but the overall process in getting this particular travel journal "altered" to fit my Samsung Galaxy Note 7 was more than I expected.Customer Service:I have never experienced a more complete, satisfying, overwhelming demonstration of what Customer Service should be like from any company. Before I ordered this travel journal to suit my needs, we had exchanged several emails to ensure that the product was crafted correctly. If you ever get the pleasure of communicating with Alice Chen, you won't be disappointed/worried about your order. Alice Chen is the epitome of great Customer care. Alice walked me through the process on ensuring that the changes I made to this iPhone travel wallet would be made to the specifications of the Note 7.Shipping:I actually received the product 14 days in advance of what was listed. I ordered this wallet on Sept. 1, received it Sept. 13, despite it saying that I should expect it around late Sept. to mid-Oct. A letter included with the product by Alice Chen was a pre-apology if the product arrived late, citing probable U.S. Customs issues, but given where it was coming from, I fully expected to wait til October. Big plus on it arriving early though.The Product:It was a pleasure holding such a fine piece of craftsmanship for a little while (I say this because I showed it to my father and he voiced his desire in having a travel wallet like this for his Note 5). So this one is his, and by the end of this review, I will have ordered another travel journal for myself and myself alone, but I digressed.The stitching is wonderfully crafted, straight lines for such thick pieces of leather.The edges that will be surrounding the Note 7 are thick and surely will resist the accidental fall. Also with the added Field Note booklet (not included, which is fine) should also provide ample protection to the front of the phone when the wallet is snapped shut.Do I have to worry if the phone will fall out? I removed my Note 7 from my case, inserted in the appropriate slot and it did not budge a bit. This was without a Field Note pad inserted in the wallet mind you. So I can just imagine that once I get one, the booklet will provide a barrier for the phone to slip out.Do I have any Cons? Not right now. I just received this wallet and this review was written no less than 2 hours after I opened the product and 1 hour after my Dad confiscated for himself, which is fine because I forgot to get him a Birthday present. And Ladies and Gentlemen, my Dad is not the type of person to take something so abruptly from anyone, especially his offspring. We tried to buy him a set of golf clubs and he made us return them, if he didn't buy it, he doesn't need it. However, this he liked, this he took.You also might be asking, "Why does this dolt need a leather journal wallet for his Note 7?" Well, the Field Note portion comes in handy when the battery is dying from it's prolong usage. The design and configuration of this wallet suited my work endeavors perfectly. However, if you don't need the Field Note section, they have other leather products that I am sure are made with the same quality and care as they have put into this.This is definitely a great product crafted by a company with a great Customer Service person like Alice Chen. You would be remiss to not purchase something from them, the Holidays are coming.....
